The Oceanwide Foundation is a non - public foundation established on October 25, 2010 by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China (No. 259 [2010] of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the establishment of the Oceanwide Foundation approved).For Oceanwide Foundation, its amount of original fund is 200 million yuan; itsregistration authority is ministry of civil affairs of the people's republic of china; and its business executive unit is the United front Work Department of CCCPC.

 Activities of the Oceanwide Foundation:

　　(I) Carry out social charity activities, help the poor anddonate Money for Education, provide funding for research projects, help thepoor groups in society.

　　(II) Support the nations cultural and artisticundertakings, provide funds to various art groups in China, support and rewardvarious cultural and artistic creations, and protect the various traditionalfolk arts and culture.

　　(III) Supportnational environmental protection undertakings and actively participate in andsupport various environmental protection activities, including forestation,windbreak and sand control, pollution control and corresponding technologicalrenovation, and support various types of environmental protectionorganizations.

　　(IV) Support the building of a new socialist countryside, supportthe construction of rural infrastructure, agricultural technology research and promotion,support for rural education, health, culture, sports and other aspects of thenew rural construction.

　　(V)Support scientific research and variouscultural exchange activities that contribute to social progress anddevelopment.
